Short version: your video is used only to make your file, and it is deleted soon after. No one watches it.

PlayableVid (playablevid.com) is run by SHORE AI LLC in Malibu, California. This page explains what happens to information when you use the site.

Your video

When you upload a video, it is stored on our server only so a computer program can make your new file. No person watches it. If you do not buy, we delete it within a few hours. If you buy, the finished file is kept for 24 hours so you can download it, then it is deleted. The original is deleted as soon as your file is made. You can delete everything yourself at any time from your order page.

Location tags and other hidden information that phones put inside videos are removed from the finished file.

What we keep

For each order we keep a small record: the order code, the file name, the choice you made, the video's length and size, your email address if you bought, and the payment status. We keep this record for 30 days, then delete it. The private link we give you works only while the files exist.

The AI helper

If you type what you want to do, such as "send to my daughter", an AI service reads those words and the plain facts about your video (such as length and size) and suggests one of our choices. It never receives your video, its pictures or its sound. We do not store the words you type.

Services that see your visit

• Stripe handles payment. We never see or keep your card number.
• Resend sends your receipt email, with the private link to your order.
• Google Fonts loads the page fonts.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Plausible to count visits and see which pages are used. They may use cookies or similar technology. We do not use them for advertising.
• Formspree. If you use the contact form, your name, email, phone (if you give it) and message are sent to us through Formspree.
• AI provider. The text helper described above.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services above to run the site, or if the law requires it.

Your choices

You can delete your video and file from your order page. You can block cookies in your browser. If you want a record or a message deleted, email info@playablevid.com. The site is not meant for children under 13.
